5 grams of 5mm (outside diameter) split rings. These are like the ring your keys are on where the wire is in a tight circle that has 2 revolutions. Using this method keeps things on the ring as it can't simply be spread apart for removal. If you intend to use these a lot, you need to get the split ring pliers as well (#172). They save you lots of time and aggravation.
