Method of Recitation:

The two configurations use the same prayer.

The medal on the left used here is #774 and the centre is #276i. The right chaplet has the #722 medal and the Crucifix is #332 small halo'd.

Any of the St. Jude medals in the Saint Medals section would be fine.

The colour of the beads are always green for St. Jude but we don't have the information as to why this is.

a) On the centre medal (or Crucifix):
St. Jude, glorious apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true Church invokes you universally as the Patron of things despaired of; pray for me, that finally I may receive the consolation and the succour of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (here make your request), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. Amen.

b) On each of the nine green beads:
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amoung women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
St. Jude, Apostle, martyr and relative of Our Lord Jesus Christ, of Mary and of St. Joseph, intercede for us.

c) On the large medal of St. Jude:
O Holy St. Jude, Apostle and martyr, great in virtue and rich in miracles, near kinsman of Jesus Christ, faithful intercessor of all who invoke your special patronage in time of need, to you I have recourse from the depth of my heart and humbly beg, to whom God has given such great power, to come to my assistance. Help me in my present and urgent petition. In return I promise to make your name known and cause you to be invoked. St. Jude, pray for us and all who invoke your aid. Amen.
