Method of Recitation:

The centre can be any centre in honour of Our Lady and the beads can be of any colour. We have chosen blue to reflect both Our Lady and the customary baby boy colour.

This chaplet consists of 33 beads to honour the 33 years of Our Lord's life on earth, plus 2 beads for each of His natures, Divine and human.
This chaplet commemorates St. Gabriel's coming to the Blessed Virgin Mary to request on behalf of the Trinity if she would become the Mother of the Messiah/Redeemer, along with her great Fiat "Be it done to me according to Thy Word".

1) Begin on the medal: Heavenly Father, through the salutation of the Archangel Gabriel, may we honor the incarnation of your Divine Son.

2) On the first bead: Mother of our Saviour, may we strive always to imitate your holy virtues and to respond to our Father "Be it done unto me according to Thy Word".

3) On the second bead: Archangel Gabriel, please praise our Father for the gift of His Son, praying one day by His grace we may all be one.

4) On the single beads of each set: Behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb and shalt bring forth a son and thou shalt call his name Jesus.

5) On each of the of 11 bead sets: Hail full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women.

6) Final Prayer to St. Gabriel:
Mighty Archangel Gabriel, you were chosen by God to announce the glad tidings of the Incarnation of the Divine Word. I praise God for having sent you with His joyful message to mankind. Pray for me that I may proclaim your message to others and be ready to suffer for love of it. Give me a personal and devoted love for Jesus, the Word of God Incarnate, and his Mother Mary, more like your own. May I see Them and you in heaven after my death. Amen.
