Anima Christi:
Optional Prayer for the Help of The Sacred Heart of Jesus:

Soul of Christ, be my sanctification.
Body of Christ, be my salvation.
Blood of Christ, fill all my veins.
Water from the side of Christ,
wash out my stains.
Passion of Christ, my comfort be.
O good Jesus, listen to me.
In Thy wounds I fain would hide,
Ne'er to be parted from Thy side.
Guard me should the foe assail me.
Call me when my life shall fail me;
Bid me come to Thee above,
with Thy saints to sing Thy love.
World without end. Amen.

Take away, O my Jesus, the blindness of my heart that I may know Thee;

take away the hardness of my heart that I may fear Thee;

take away the coldness of my heart that I may love Thee;

take away the weakness of my heart that I may resist everything that is contrary to Thy will;

take away its heavy, earthly sluggishness and selfishness that I may be capable of heroic sacrifice for Thy glory, and for the souls whom Thou hast redeemed with Thy own most Precious Blood. Amen.

NOTE: The prayers included here can be said on either bead version of the Sacred Heart chaplet.
